“Let your imagination soar. Somewhere inside, a sense of freedom awaits us all. Like a blue horse.”
In the eighties, Swedish glass artist Bertil Vallien created the first Brains – the head, which has become one of his most prominent symbols. Since then, he has made a variety of ‘individuals’ and new expressions that he views as meditative anti-stress objects for both the hand and the eye. I Dreamed Of A Blue Horse is made of neodymium glass, which looks lavender in sunlight, slightly shifting to blue in fluorescent light. The unique object is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden and is part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection. I Dreamed Of A Blue Horse includes a velvet bag and an exclusive gift box.

Bertil Vallien
Bertil Vallien (born in 1938) is an artist who needs no further introduction for anyone who loves the beauty and mystery of glass. During his 60-year career, Vallien has become renowned among glass enthusiasts, primarily for his sand-cast sculptures and especially his world-famous glass ships. “From the very first moment, I was captivated by the seductive properties of glass. I have dedicated my entire life as an artist to exploring and pushing the limits of this material.”
