Anne Nilsson, born 1953, has an ability to combine simple designs with function and glass crafts in an elegant way - something that has made her one of Sweden’s most significant glass designers. Her products are often simple and clean and add a touch of beauty to everyday life.

Her background includes studies at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design (Konstfack) with a focus on glass and ceramics between 1973-1978, and studies at California College of Arts and Crafts. She was employed as a designer by Höganäs Keramik AB before she came to Kosta Boda in 2001, where she worked until 2005. For Kosta Boda she has - amongst other things - designed the collection Pagod, and the collection Nero which was nominated to EDIDA (Elle Decor International Design Award) in 2004.
