Product Information
The young and beautiful Apollo was the god of light and art in ancient Greece. The famous "Oracle of Delphi" served as his mouthpiece and was expected to provide people with answers to all their questions. Bertil Vallien thrives in the ambiguous landscape of the mythological world – a perfect fit for his poetic temperament. The beauty of the glass invites us to other observations than those perhaps intended by the artist. The oracle retains its own secret. As Bertil himself puts it: “The glass feeds on the flowing light in the room.”
Oracle is handmade in Kosta, Sweden, and available in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
