Kappa

Kappa is a collection of mouth-blown vases in circular glass, named after the small bubble, or cap, that rises over the edge in the glass-blowing process. The cap is also the inspiration behind the shape of the vases – an expression that makes them beautiful, wonderful, and inviting. The collection from Kosta Boda is designed for a sustainable future and is, at the same time, a tribute to traditional craftsmanship. Isn’t that enough to make you feel all bubbly inside?

With a Sustainability Focus

Mimmi Blomqvist

Mimmi Blomqvist (born in 1994) is a Swedish designer with a strong sustainability focus. She strives to create objects beyond the expected, with the intention to merge utility items and sculpture into a common design. For Kosta Boda, she has designed the collection Kappa, which is made of 100 percent recycled glass.
