Product Information

The Moss collection from Kosta Boda is created from reused old molds from Kosta Glassworks that have been carved by hand to bring out a unique, undulating and irregular surface to the glass. The collection is manufactured in circular glass and have unique color variations thanks to the recycled and spilled shards used. The vase which was initially developed in collaboration with Gothenburg Opera's 30-year anniversary, gives a dimension of life where flowers can bubble up from the water. Made in in Kosta with design by Åsa Jungnelius.

Åsa Jungnelius

Åsa Jungnelius (born in 1975) lives and works in Stockholm and in Månsamåla, Sweden, where she previously shared the glassworks with the celebrated Kosta Boda artist Ulrica Hydman Vallien, her mentor and a great source of inspiration. In 2004, the artist had her first major success with her degree project created for one of Sweden's most prestigious art and design universities, called “I like your hairstyle!” In the installation, she created a surrealist shopping scene with objects that spark desire.
