The boat has become one of his main signatures, recreated in different sizes and forms. Vertical Journey is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden in clear glass with details such as a hand-painted head and copper figures cast inside. The boat, which is part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection, stands on a black wooden plinth.
